About Workshop

 Pre Conference Workshops

1.) RF radiation hazards and solutions

Date: 14 February 2017

Dr. Girish Kumar

Professor, Electrical Engineering Department

I.I.T. Bombay, Powai, Mumbai, INDIA

About Workshop

Various RF sources and their radiation levels will be discussed. Because of several advantages of wireless communication, there use is increasing exponentially. Overuse of cell phones, living/working near the vicinity of cellular towers, Wi-Fi modem, and other RF transmitters can cause various health hazards in a few years depending upon the radiation intensity and exposure time. Practical solutions will be provided to protect from undesired high radiation.
